Exciting news! Back in winter 2023, I met with the Cary Police Chief, Terry Sult, and his team. We discussed the future for GuardianShot and I am grateful to have received a Badge of Honor from him for my work. I learned a lot about the security system here in Cary anad how GuardianShot could be integrated with that in the future. The low-cost and easy installation were definitely appeals for GuardianShot over another gunshot detection system.
Sgt. Hageter and Sgt. Babb helped me get a time slot at their police gun range to test out my device a couple months later. This was my first real testing with actual guns (AR-15 rifles in this case), and it brought a lot of knowledge that changed the model completely. Stay tuned for a post on those details.
I will continue working with Chief Sult and Mr. Overton with testing the device, and another post regarding my false positive testing will be coming out soon!
